ICE shot another man September 22: Venezuelan Wilber Garces Perez gunned down in Austin Texas, suffers paralysis on the left side of his body. According to the Washington Post, he was transferred, four hours after this lawless shooting, from his hospital bed “to a federal detention facility…despite having a bullet still lodged in his back.” Physicians “argued it was reckless to release him from the hospital that quickly.” It was also reckless for the puling ICE officers to shoot him in the first place.
Luckless DoorDash driver Garces “was making a delivery Sunday when an unmarked black truck operated by ICE sideswiped his car [his lawyer said]. After he attempted to make a U-turn to find a place to pull over, the ICE vehicle struck his car again before an officer shot him.” The ICE Gestapo motto should be “shoot first, ask questions later.” In fact, it probably is. It’s certainly tacky enough for these disgraceful cowards who conceal their identities because they know darn well they’re committing crimes.
Then on September 24, ICE reportedly detained, wounded and abandoned a U.S. citizen in a Chicago suburb. The Department of Homeland Security claims that this victim “was given lawful commands [Ho! Ho!] but was not cooperative and refused to identify himself.” I suppose that justifies injuring this citizen’s neck, teeth and head. An Evanston police officer reportedly saw “blood on the hands of the agent in the SUV, which the federal official said resulted from an injury he received while trying to detain the man.” So this victim fought back; he’s lucky he’s not dead, because that’s what usually happens to those, including U.S. citizens, who fight back against ICE killers, directed by ICE’s Fourth Reich Berlin on the Potomac. Bystanders helped this victim after ICE wrestled him to the ground, wounded him, discovered he was a U.S. citizen and with unsurprising pusillanimity fled the scene. I’m impressed they even left. ICE mistook this man for a fugitive migrant, which usually leads this repellant posse to summary, extrajudicial murder.
Meanwhile, also announced on September 24, roughly 40 people were arrested in Massachusetts this week. According to governor Maura Healey, “Many of those arrested have lived here for many years and have families here. They were on their way to work at a fishing plant, supermarket and other key industries for the region.” Over in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a vigil was planned for an immigrant who died fleeing ICE. Simultaneously, according to Slate September 24, Donald “Deport All Nonwhites” Trump “found a new horrifying way to disappear ICE detainees.” How? DHS “has stopped offering tracking services for anyone arrested and detained with an outstanding removal order, priming detainees to be quickly removed to third countries without ever having spoken to an attorney or even their families.” This malicious innovation has already brutalized over 16,000 people.
ICE arrests soared to “43,000 in June, more than 49,000 in July and nearly 51,000 in August,” per the New York Times September 25. How does this affect the immigrant community and more generally the 68-million-strong Hispanic population in the U.S.? It terrorizes them. Every Hispanic person, citizen or no, understands he or she is a target of a murderous, violent, government paramilitary that, on the basis of a Spanish person’s appearance or accent, may well gun them down in broad daylight – with impunity from the white house. This is an intolerable situation and one no American with even only elementary comprehension of citizenship should accept.
ICE attacked “hospitals and airports, outside suburban schools and along rural construction sites and truck stops. They fanned out from coastal cities in Maine to desert towns in Arizona, across the open plains of Wyoming and down through the southern borderlands.” They were everywhere. Meanwhile, Donald “Make America White Again” Trump has battled birthright citizenship in the courts – too many Spanish-speaking migrants, for him, have children here, evidently – losing before the Supremes on June 30 in his quest to proclaim it unconstitutional.
Nonetheless in August, Trump signed two executive orders again targeting birthright citizenship. Those EOs “attempt to place restrictions on…foreigners who give birth in the U.S.” reported PBS August 8. “Some of the restrictions…are expected to face legal challenges.” Trump wants to ditch the Fourteenth Amendment, which makes anyone born here a U.S. citizen, an amendment that dates from 1866 and, per AI, was “officially certified into the U.S. Constitution on July 28, 1868.” So it’s been around a long time. Which just goes to show you how radically reactionary Trump is. Or just freaking opportunistic. His role model, the late Lou Dobbs, revealed the popular bonanza to be reaped by letting nativism rip. Trump did exactly that, twice, and rode into the white house on an electoral college tidal wave. Yet most Americans couldn’t care less about the legal status of their immigrant neighbors, while most businessmen very much want migrants here. Why? Because they’ll do the jobs in putrid slaughterhouses and as roofers that Americans refuse. And despite white house eagerness to bribe white American women to stay home tending multiple children, Hispanics remain the main engine of U.S. population growth. Delete our Spanish population, and the U.S. slips back to the stagnant demography of Europe or China. Not that Trump actually cares.
Like Russia, the U.S. is huge and hugely multicultural. In fact, those are the two biggest multicultural nations on earth. Like Russia, U.S. population growth stems from its so-called minority population. Like Russia, that population is largely non-white. Unlike Russia, where the fast-growing minority groups include Muslims and Asians, the U.S. Hispanic “minority” is Christian and, quite mistakenly in my view, much of it pro-Trump. Again, unlike Russia, which has a leader, president Vladimir Putin, who openly espouses traditional values and is just as openly enthusiastic about the minorities he governs, Trump scorns American minorities and unleashes a murderous Gestapo against them. Putin would never dream of such idiocy.
Why? Because the difference between these two rulers is that between an intelligent, competent, educated, former KGB officer, Putin, and a reality TV star, Trump; between the Russian leader that a stratospherically arrogant Barack “Sellout Is My Middle Name” Obama had the nerve to dictate abandoning his presidential run in 2012 because the Obama regime preferred Dmitri Medvedev to a Putin who had so incontestably rescued the Russian economy from American clutches, in which the average Russian man’s life expectancy had sunk to a mere 68 years, and from the poverty to which American cowboy capitalism had consigned it in the nineties; because Putin knew exactly and firsthand the horrors the west was capable of because of what it inflicted on his family, indeed on the families of 30 million Russians, namely, it killed his older brother during the barbaric Nazi blockade of Leningrad. In short, Putin had shown himself to be a formidable leader of Russia and thus earned undying detestation from western elites, clearly his inferiors in skill and smarts. Admitting this is merely realism.
But Trump? No. Here we have a bumbler who destroyed U.S. power in West Asia with a criminal, ill-advised, unprovoked war on Iran. A ruler who is in every key way Putin’s opposite and inferior. Putin would never dream of insulting Russia’s Muslim citizens. Trump has done so to minorities here, off the cuff, for years. And that’s but one of numerous examples of the differences between them – and don’t get me started on those between Trump and China’s president Xi Jinping. Suffice it to say that they do not reflect nicely on Trump.
And so, in desperation, the Trump CIA spends a year bombing Russia’s energy sector with drones. It also now floats rumors in Europe that Russia plans a war on NATO, in the evident hope to spark that war, a war they dream might destroy Moscow’s power once and for all. If Europe goes down the tubes too, becoming a charred, blackened, nuclear-irradiated skeleton – well, that is a price the Trump CIA is evidently willing to pay, in its futile lunge at global hegemony. But never underestimate these thugs: our Trump spooks may have lost in Ukraine, they may have screwed things up in West Asia, they may ultimately have to abandon their blood-crazed pitbull, Israel, they may have called off the Great War on China, but they got a toehold in the Arctic – Greenland – they’re wreaking havoc in Latin America and at home, complain about Trump hegemony and some white house nitwit you’ve never heard of before will call you a communist.
And that hegemony, make no mistake, means, for the Trump regime, the rule of white American men. This is not just some woke nightmare. It’s what these birdbrains really want: White American women will get to stay home, pumping out babies. Hispanic Americans will get to be shot by ICE or shipped to foreign prison hellholes. As far as African Americans are concerned, Trump has been rather quiet. No one in their right mind should regard that silence with complacency.
