The CounterPunch website is offered at no charge to the general public over the world wide web. New articles are generally posted every weekday. A batch of several articles, including the Poet’s Basement, and Roaming Charges by Jeffrey St. Clair, are posted in the Weekend Edition. After the initial posting, these articles are available in the archives which can be searched by using any of the search boxes on the website. CounterPunch also publishes books, and published a newsletter and magazine from 1993 to 2020. The CounterPunch+ Member Area of our website features members-only content and access.
Who Funds CounterPunch?
CounterPunch is reader supported. We are a non-profit and don’t solicit big foundations. We conduct semi-annual fund drives and most of our support comes from small donations and subscriptions.
What is CounterPunch+?
The CounterPunch+ Member Area is an area of counterpunch.org where members can read special features and columns, receive members only discounts and offers, and have access to our back issues archive. We’re granting free access to CounterPunch+ during our transition period.
How do I become a member?
When you subscribe to CounterPunch+, make a monthly donation, or a once-a-year donation of $25 or more, you will become a member and be granted access to the CounterPunch+ Member Area.
While CounterPunch+ is in a transitional development period until the end of 2020, we are offering free access to the CP+ Member Area.
If you are already a subscriber, your subscription will be in a grace period until the end of year, at which point it will be extended to reflect the duration of your subscription that remained before the grace period began. If you subscribe now you will enjoy the grace period and your membership will begin at the beginning of 2021.
After the grace period, members will need to be logged in to view CP+ Member Area content.
How long will it take for my merchandise order to ship?
Merchandise is generally sent within 48 hours of order, depending on the day of the week. All domestic orders are sent by First Class or Priority U.S. Mail and may take 5-7 business days. Orders sent outside the U.S. are also sent by U.S. Mail and may take 3-4 weeks.
How do I change my billing and shipping address with CounterPunch?

How Do I make a donation?
CounterPunch relies solely upon the generosity of its supporters and subscription fees to maintain the CounterPunch Website, which is a costly affair. Donations can be made on our website, by telephone or through regular mail. Please see our contact information below. To donate via our website click any of the donation links. CounterPunch is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Your donations are tax deductible. Please contact us if you need our tax id number.
What are the guidelines for submitting an article to CounterPunch?
Please submit in electronic form only to firstname.lastname@example.org. Length: you have a better chance with 500-2000 words. We don’t pay for web contributions, nor do the editors guarantee any response to submissions.
Can I advertise on the CounterPunch Website?
