Private Place v Public Space

Private Place v Public Space

Some of these pencils are great
Even the sharp ones, however, grow dull…
And the next time you use the crosswalk
As a waiting zone for your truck, or car,
And I’m around
I’ll stick it a bit with the screwdriver that
I carry about
For just these types of occasions
And, no, you won’t run me down
You won’t even notice, until it’s too late
Just like you don’t see enormous things
Like public space
In your private car seat
Baby
