Saif Helles, a child from Gaza City, died of starvation. This image of young Saif's emaciated body, as striking as Mantegna's Lamentation of the Dead Christ, was photographed by Aziz Khalil. It was one of the last postings by Anas Al-Sharif before he was killed in an Israeli airstrike, as he slept in a tent with other journalists outside Al-Shifa Hospital.
