Terry Gibbs is an Associate Professor of International Politics at Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia, Canada. She is the author of Why the Dalai Lama is a Socialist: Buddhism and the Compassionate Society (Zed Books, 2017) and co-author with Garry Leech of The Failure of Global Capitalism: From Cape Breton to Colombia and Beyond (CBU Press, 2009).
