Joan Berezin was a civil rights and anti-war activist in Baltimore in the 1960s and 1970s. She has spent the last four decades doing workplace and revolutionary organizing in Baltimore, in Chicago and, since 1995, in the San Francisco Bay area with the revolutionary socialist group Speak Out Now.
