Ecology Over Economy

The nomos in your oikos,
That’s economy.
The logos in your oikos, though,
would bring about ecology —
as long as it stays free
from nomos’ tendencies.
Now, nomos is the nomeus,
the shepherd —
but not Jesus since
he had no sheep in Nazareth;
The shepherd, docking tails off sheep
(and testicles, from testis,
meaning witness — yes, possessing wit,
or knowledge, which
the nomos and the nomeus
replace with dogmatics and obedience) —
The mission of the logos
differs — not Jesus qua shepherd
but Jesus the healer
contra nomos’ nomeus’
conditions of disease —
logos’ eros won’t chop sheep
But heals their wounds
and sets them free — the remedy
of nomos’ heteronomy, ecology —
sublation of economy —
in every dimension.
