Venus or Mars might smash into Earth in an attack triggered by movements of Mercury. These rogue planets could attack us in as little as 3.5 billion years, according to news reports of a paper published this week in the scientific journal Nature.
Scientists warned of the gathering and growing threat against us after running 2,501 computer-driven scenarios. An Earth-shattering collision was the dire result in all but 2,475 of them.
Just one collision would obliterate life as we know it.
The United States of America would be destroyed.
After the horrors of September 11, even this one percent risk of catastrophe is unacceptable. We must attack and destroy these planets at a time of our choosing, before they attack and destroy us.
Some people may say we should wait to see if Venus, Mars, and Mercury actually deviate from their orbits. But facing clear evidence of peril, we cannot wait 3.5 million years for the final proof – the smoking gun – that could come in the form of a molecular cloud.
Failure to act against this growing danger would embolden other planets to flout their God-given courses and hurtle toward Earth with deliberate and massive cruelty. We must announce to every planet in every galaxy, “You’re either with us or against us.”
It is our generation’s responsibility to act decisively. We cannot be certain that our descendents in 3.5 billion years will remember the lessons of September 11 and share our resolve. Nor can we be certain that human beings will even continue to exist as a species in 3.5 billion years and be able to rescue Mother Earth.
Our solar system is not a suicide pact. Venus, Mars, and Mercury – this axis of evil – must be destroyed.
