re: troubles setting up emacs

I've solved some of my problems.  I discovered that I have a defective
human screen reader (gotta talk to someone about an upgrade :]).
Apparently the person skimmed over all that jaz when TCL said "stty not
found."  Hmmmm...yeh, that could have something to do with it.

Now I'm scratching my head as to why something like that wouldn't have been
installed.  Should I just get a copy of stty from someone else's system, or
might I be missing other important binaries?  What package is stty part of
anywayz?  Thought it was the A set.  If it were, wouldn't I have some other
large problems which would keep me from booting?
