Re: Emacs problems



If the original poster of this question used the Slackware diskset, then two
emacs binaries get created in /usr/bin --emacs-19.xx-with-no-X11 and the other
with X support built in. /usr/bin/emacs is a symlink to one or the other --the
default is to symlink /usr/bin/emacs to the version with X support.

Redirecting the symlink should fix the problem.
