One thing needs to be made clear.  Dosemu isn't an emulation.  It is
an interface that allows you to run DOS (MS-DOS, PC DOS, or Open DOS)
in a 640kb block of memory from within Linux.  Because of the memory
limit, you can only run Windows 2.0 or earlier if you need a Windows
application; I'm not sure whether Windows 95 could be run in DOS mode.
I have run such DOS applications as ProComm, Word Perfect, and Pro Audio
Spectrum's text-to-voice application from within Linux, but I have to add
the caveat that this was only from curiousity rather than need, and I 
never tried to rely on such use.  I did encounter temporary freezing of
other Linux applications while using ProComm and the PAS application, 
but Dosemu has been improved, I believe, with Linux spooling some I/O
processes...
