As I was the one who started the Partition Magic discussion, I would just
like to explain the thought behind the comments. Not being a Linux wiz yet,
I was addressing Brent's concern that his Windows setup might be lost if he
started using Linux, and I suggested Partition Magic because of my lack of
Linux knowledge. For us people with Microsoft corrutpted brains all this
linux stuff is hard to figure out at first. Therefore, learning about all
the angles of integrating into the world of Linux is for a number of people
essential.

questions in a way that leeds to Linux oriented discussions. A moderator's
job is probably not an easy one. So, thank you for steering us in the right
direction, but having said my speel, I must say I have gained some important
knowledge about two Linux utilities (lilo and fipps).
While I am writing, I would like to point out one problematic thing my
message might contribute too. I said Linux is currently only voice
accessible with the Dectalk and Doubletalk synthesizers. The correct
statement should be Dectalk and Doubletalk LT.
