yes and I don't want to drown. since I only have one machine for now I
guess I'm at a stand still until a doubletalk driver comes out. So for now
I guess I'll just use win 95 and dos untill such time as the driver gets
written or I get a decktalk, one of the two. :)
:)

I agree 100% and to think I can't even see the darn things so why pay for
them. :) I think I would learn a lot because I love installing new stuff
and trying new things, so the above sound like it would be great fun and a
wonderful learning experience.

this I did not expect: I understand linux is different and there for will
have differences all the way down the chain so to speak.

Guess I mist it.
thanks to all for your help, but for now I'llhave to go with dos/win 95
untill I get a decktalk or a double talk driver is available for
imacsspeak.
Thanks again and I'll go back to lurking in the background in hopes that
one day more speach drivers will be written.
I know the games etc that my wife like to use will work for now...
Hopefully say day I can go on the linux adventure..
Again thanks to all for all the help..
