Lilo is included in every (I think) Linux distribution. 
Lilo can be found at:

http://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/system/Linux-boot/lilo/
latest version is lilo.18.tar.gz

The nice thing is, you can install lilo at your 
main boot record and/or at your partition boot
record.

It is also possible to let lilo boot a kernel 
which sits on a floppy drive. You also can boot 
your OS with lilo from the 2nd drive or an extended 
partition... 

When I booted Linux the first time some years ago on
my 16MHz Intel 386 from a huge stack of 5 1/4 floppies, 
which I had downloaded over a slow 9600 modem connection, 
lilo was the first sign of Linux life I saw on my yellowish 
Hercules screen. When it said: "LILO booting.........." 

I thought: "Hey, it really seems to work!" and my hands got wet.
