Hello!

I have uploaded the latest version of "Softspeech" to:

http://www.uni-paderborn.de/cs/heiss/blinux/index-en.html

What is Softspeech? It is a program to control freephone + mbrola or
hadifix + mbrola to mimic a hardware synthesizer. Instead of sending
text (and commands) to /dev/cua0, you just pipe it into Softspeech.

Features are:

- German and English (switchable at runtime)
- Flushing of mbrola and /dev/dsp
- Clearing of speech pipe (interrupting). This feature needs the latest
version of mbrola, see file README
- Control of speed and pitch

A brltty-2.0 integration will follow soon.

	Roger
