[Oman-L] Companys/Jobs in Oman

Dear all,

I once posted here talking of how I missed Oman and how I often think of my 
childhood there. I recently made a real effort to think it all through 
properly, and I've come to realise that I don't think I will be truely happy 
unless I at least try to move back. It sounds stupid but I look at pictures 
or see something on the tv on Oman, and it just simply looks like home to 
me. I myself am not an arab, and as such know I will never and did never fit 
in, but though I fit in physically in England, I don't fit in emotionally, 
it's just not my home. I know I may just have a romatic view of it all since 
I am seeing it all through the eyes of my childhood, so I'm going to visit 
at some point soon and see if I still feel the same.

What would be a great help from any of you is any thoughts, ideas or 
pointers.

I am currently studying a degree in Avioinc Systems and may work towards my 
Chartership after graduating. Does anyone know what companies based in Oman 
(mainly around Muscat) that I may be able to apply to? I'd be able to work 
in the design electronics, avioincs, design of medical electronics and so 
on. A career in England would be quite a straight forward set path, but I 
don't know what relevant industry is in Oman or how to find out, but I would 
love to be given a chance to work and contribute to Oman in anyway I can.
