Dear Abdulla
Thank you for sending the prompt about this documentary.
My daughter's friend and I watched, and she and I reflected on how the
Israelis were using the same sort of thinking, methodology, and tactics as
have been used on them in other situations, viz the Second World War.
And other people want revenge on them, and so it goes on. Where will it
stop, and how will it stop?
Do you believe in consultation, discussion and whether justice can be
achieved through the Law?
Talking of which, LAW sends on average 3 e-mails a day detailing just who
has been shot and seriously wounded in the occupied territories.
We felt very sorry for Ali Kashmar, who was abominably treated and struck us
as a boy in a man's body. His psychological growth has been stunted.
Professional help for Ali would not only help him but also his mother, who
seemed to us to have to take the brunt of his trauma.
And we had great admiration for the lady who waited 14 years for her
intended husband to return.
All of which, I suppose, suggests that we have a feminist bias?
Will any of the funds that have been earmarked by Saudi Arabia to support
the families of Palestinians who have died also provide for support of
families in South Lebanon, and in what way will they be used?
Regards, Sue Hutton
