I just received the email about the five year old about to attend ABA, and
this wave of nostalgia hit me (rather sad for a 24-year old), so: are there
any ABAers from the beginning on this list? Back when it was mainly
portocabins, Mrs Leggat as principal who I think was initially the history
teacher at Muscat English Speaking School, and that opening day with the
special song '190 muscat the A-B-A, the 12th of September (December?) was
our first day' - a masterpiece.
If this sounds faintly familiar to you, let me know
Also, I am thinking of going diving around Salalah in February 99, ideally
for a week with also scope for on land exploring. Any suggestions what the
best approach would be? Apparently there is an amazing 'gate' or wall to
look at, does this sound familiar? What is marine life like over there, how
different from the Bustan area?
Thanks
Jo
