The only thing you need to bring with you from the UK is your bicycle plus
repair kit and a cheese slicer.
You have the fancy shopping malls as sailor Billyboy has described. If
you're reallly into good and cheap you can go to some excellent shopping
malls right in the souq for good clothes. Guess Billyboy doesn't even know
that. Interested of those places? write me privately.
