Dear Tommy and others,

My plea to concentrate on Oman was intended as a general remark and 
not directed against Abdulla Baabood's posting. My feeling is, however, 
that most list members wish this list to focus on Oman. The inappropriate 
postings to which you refer above have almost exclusively emanated from 
non-list members, so that it would not have been useful to reply to them 
on the list as the reply would never have reached them. I can assure you 
that I have replied off-list in each of these cases, however, in vain in
most 
of the cases as senders of unsollucited commercial e-mail usually have 
forged reply addresses.

Again: I would like to continued this list as an unmoderated list, as I am 
neither inclined to act as a sort of censor nor do I have the time to spare

for that, but I am working on making this a closed list for list embers
only.
