[oman-l] Survival of this list ...

Pardon me, but.....
I have seen mail on this list like adverts for computer parts, banking and
many other business related mails with none whatsoever relation to Oman,
without comments from the list-owner. Palestine is not exactly an Oman
issue, but it is very related to Oman in many ways, especially the way the
Omani people have supported the Palestinian struggle. Many of us can
remember that until very recently there was an import check that was
especially assigned to probihit the import of zionist manifactured items.
Even though I in general agree with the list owner, I think in todays 50
years celebration of Israel forgetting the 50 years of suppression of the
Palestinian people, one can spend a couple of e-mails on that very related
issue. I'm quite sure our Omani brothers on the list won't mind?

Somehow, I have a feeling, that oman for many only is nice beaches, hefty
mountains and cool falajis.
