[oman-l] Fw: List code (was INFO & assistance)

As some of you may have remembered I made a comment a week ago regarding
writing e-mail with capital letters. Unfortunately "mood" cannot be seen in
e-mail, and maybe I should have added a smiley.
Someone on the list got offended by my mail, and started writing private
mail to me, correcting me. I answered that I do not wish to start private
mail changing with him. This resulted in another mail posted to me.

I am a member of several mail-L. The universal code is that what you write
concerning the list, you send to the list. Private mail is not accepted
(unless there's a special relation built up). The reason for this is
obvious - tit a tet of hate mail is starting going to and fro.

If somebody likes to make comments regarding my way of writing on this list,
right or wrong, I'd like to have it mailed to this list. I do certainly not
appreciate negative mail sent to me privatly by persons I do not know, I
find that quite rude.

Is the person below the list owner? If not,  I appreciate him refraining
from telling me what belongs to the Oman'list.
