What is the difference between the website and the newsletter?
The CounterPunch website is offered at no charge to the general public over the world wide web. New articles are generally posted every weekday. A batch of several articles, including the Poet’s Basement, are usually posted in the Weekend Edition. After the initial posting, these articles are available in the archives which can be searched by clicking any of the search links on the website.
The CounterPunch Newsletter is a six page publication solely for CounterPunch subscribers. It is published twice monthly except for single issues during July and August for a total of 22 issues per year. The newsletter is available both in print form, sent by US Mail and as an email edition sent as a PDF. (PDFs are readable with Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded for free at www.adobe.com)
How long will it take for my subscription to be fulfilled?
Print subscriptions can take up to six weeks to fill. The duration depends where we are in our print cycle the moment you subscribe. Email issues are sent out within the first week of subscribing.
How long will it take for my merchandise order to ship?
Merchandise is generally sent within 48 hours of order, depending on the day of the week. All domestic orders are sent by First Class or Priority U.S. Mail and may take 5-7 business days. Orders sent outside the U.S. are also sent by U.S. Mail and may take 3-4 weeks.
How do I print an article off of the website?
CounterPunch does not offer a printer friendly version of the website articles. If you need to print the article we suggest copying and pasting into a program such as Word.
How do I change my subscription address?

How do I make a donation?
CounterPunch relies solely upon the generosity of its supporters and subscription fees to maintain the CounterPunch Website, which is a costly affair. Donations can be made on our website, by telephone or through regular mail. Please see our contact information. To donate via our website click any of the ‘make a donation’ links. CounterPunch is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Your donations are tax deductible. Please contact us if you need our tax id number.
What are the guidelines for submitting an article to CounterPunch?
Please submit in electronic form only to counterpunch@counterpunch.org. Length: you have a better chance with 500-2000 words. We don't pay for web contributions, nor do the editors guarantee any response to submissions.
Can I advertise on the CounterPunch Website?
