Where's Jeb?

Another Bush
in the Bunker?

By Jack McCarthy

Not only was president Bush all but missing in action after Tuesdays devastating attack on the World Center, his brother Jeb according to the St.Pete Times' reporter Julie Hauserman, is also acting eerily disengaged.

Asked about the Florida end of the investigation the Jebster testily said, "I don't want to know...I don't think it's appropriate for me to know these things. I want to read them in the paper."

Huh?

What's this another Bush in the Bunker?

Hardly a reassuring thought that. Especially since some of the suspects in the dastardly deed are reported to have links to places such as Venice, Coral Springs, Daytona and Vero Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Delray Beach.

A lot of people in Florida are frightened not least because not only is Jeb the Presidents brother and perhaps a target for attack, but the infamous Freudian monument, the Penis shaped Florida Capitol is said to be the fourth largest building in the U.S. and perhaps a target as well.

Like many other blowhards around the country Florida politicians galore are rhetorically declaring, "This is war."

It is war. A public relations war. The U.S. government is trying to convince the country that the perps will be punished. Unfortunately for the U.S. the perp is not the individual Osama Bin Laden, but the U.S. created Frankenstein, the Taliban state of Afghanistan. Bin Laden, according to reports earlier this year, heads the Afghanistan armed forces. The Taliban wisely keep him out of the spotlight.

On Tuesday Sept 11 a day we are told Roosevelt like will live in "infamy" the United State of America was attacked by the country of Afghanistan --not a cave dwelling swarthy skinned, snake tailed devil named Osama. Yet no one is talking of a declaration of war on that country.

According to Saturdays New York Times the U.S. has not even asked the only two countries who recognize the Taliban, who are to Islam what the Khmer Rouge were to Marxism, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to cut ties to Afghanistan. Instead, as the U.S. did in Panama, they want their once favored terrorist creature to turn in his badge and gun or face the consequences.

Also reported on Saturday was the Russian reaction. The Russians announced on Friday that they would not aid the U.S. in any attacks on their old nemesis the Taliban. What a spectacle it would be for the Russians to end up supporting the Taliban.

It helps explains why the U.S. lacks the will to declare war on the very country responsible for Infamy 2. CP
